Our English Summer Camp is not just a camp, it is a unique opportunity for your child to create lasting memories, improve their language skills and discover the magic that history and education can offer.
Studying programme
Depending on the students level, classes will be divided into 2 to 4 sessions with short breaks.
Up to 4 hours study classes per day. Weekly recaps and exams.

Daily camp programme
Week 1
Day 1 : Arrival & Castle tour
English Classes
Activities: Welcome tour of Assumburg Castle, introduction to camp, to the team and schedule
Evening: Icebreaking games
Day 2: Camp start
English Classes
Activities: Team games at the sport fields
Evening: Team quiz, the continuation of team theme (focus on English vocabulary)
Day 3: Detectives
English Classes
Activities: Detectives of the “Castle Garden” – orienting game with mystery solving case.
Evening: “Young Engineers” - a group challenge where students will have to build a ship/car in a given time using the materials provided.
Day 4: Optional: North Sea Trip
English Classes
Optional activity: Half day bike riding to the North Sea, the route is 20 km round trip.
Activity: Color sprints
Evening: English Charades, Social/Strategic board games
Day 5: Workshop
English Classes
Activities: Mastering bracelets and post cards for the relatives
Evening: Role-game, public speaking by the specific topic
Day 6: Exhibition
English Classes
Activities: Photo competition: Each student is given a specific task for the photo portfolio
Evening: Photo Exhibition with storytelling
Day 7: Excursion: Zaanse Schans
*Day off from English Classes
Trip: Zaanse Schans, famous open-air museum with traditional Dutch houses, working windmills. Zaandam. Filmmuseum (the tour is flexible and can be adjusted)
Evening: Recap on the trip.


Week 2
Day 8: Creative
English Classes
Activity: Tennis classes + Volleyball game
Evening: Board game club
Day 9: Production
English Classes
Activity: Group film production about the camp (specific topics will be given to the students) where the students will need to interact with other camper for news, interviews e.t.c.
Evening: TV Production and “English Summer Camp Evening News”
Day 10: Rest and reflection
English Classes
Activity: Free time
Evening: Reflecting about the days experience, where campers will write short entries or draw about their trip
Day 11: Excursion: Amsterdam Tour
Guided tour to Amsterdam, Van Gogh Museum, Nemo Museum and few more locations depending on the students group age, with focus on famous Dutch artworks, cosy streets, culture.
Evening: Recap on the trip.
Day 12: Castle puzzle

Activity: Fixing the clues to find hidden items
Evening: Movie night
Day 13: What a day, what a Camp!
English Classes
Activity: Farewell preparation, English-language scrapbook/collage of their camp experiences + some printed photos with our help. Sharing the thoughts in the other students scrapbooks.
Also this activity can be a “t-shirt painting”
Evening: Award ceremony, where each camper receives a certificate for their participation in the camp.
Day 14. Departure day.

The Middle Ages: travel through history and explore different periods using English.

Vocabulary development and public speaking: take part in projects such as presentations, talks and creative projects to improve your English

Daily Programme: 4 hours of fun English lessons focusing on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and listening skills.

Our experienced teachers create a playful learning environment where English is both fun and educational, ensuring your child's language skills flourish.

Excursions and trips: Hiking, camping, nature photography and cultural trips in many Dutch cities.

Three meals a day, based on individual preferences.
2 hours of writing, reading and listening in English + 2 hours of interactive English learning through games and presentations.
Assessment (Depending on the programme chosen, levels range from A1 to B2)
